The National Christian Association
The National Christian Association (NCA) of Jerusalem is an indigenous National Palestinian Non-Profit Non-Government association established by prominent Christian community members in Jerusalem concerned about the ongoing diminution of the Palestinian Christian presence in the Holy Land due to immigration. The association was officially registered in 1985 and reactivated in October 2003. The members of the association belong to all the Christian denominations of Jerusalem.

Our Mission is to:
• Strengthen the unity and presence of the Palestinian Christians from all denominations in Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
• Support with cultural, educational, social, and economic activities the remaining dwindling Christian population in Jerusalem in a modest attempt to mitigate the immigration of Christians from the Holy Land.
• Promote better understanding.
Cooperation, tolerance, and coexistence with the Palestinian Muslim community for the benefit of an empowered, closely-knit society.
In line with its objectives, the Board adopted several concepts and programs to ameliorate the daily living. Conditions of the people of Jerusalem without prejudice to religion or race, especially in the face of the mounting hardships and economic difficulties.
Our programs focus on education, training, and job creation. The Association over the past four years implemented the following activities: In line with our motto:
"Work is a right to everyone."
Despite our focus on education and training, the association has not forgotten the marginalized and poor families. Since Christmas 2005, the Association has distributed Food Aid parcels to more than 2000 families with funds raised and annual generous contributions from Christian churches, banks, and NGOs in Jerusalem.
The Association sponsors ceremonies for honoring prominent citizens who have excelled in serving their communities. Teachers and directors of private schools, the directors of charitable institutions, prominent citizens of Jerusalem, and the clergy were recognized and honored in various ceremonies where they were all decorated with the "Pioneer for Peace" medals.
The Governing Body
The Association consists of a General Assembly representing all the registered members. The General Assembly elects a board of Directors every two years consisting of thirteen members per the bylaws of the Association. A group of consultants of professional specialists in all fields assists the board. A three-member monitoring committee monitors the activities of the Board and reports to the General Assembly.
